In 2010, Rentenbank continued to strongly expand its promotional activities. Total assets increased to € 75.8 billion (HGB), due to further growth of the promotional lending volume. As Rentenbank grants its loans principally via other banks, loans and advances to banks are of significant importance in the balance sheet.
